Fireworks at Lake Hogan

We went to Lake Hogan June 28-July 1 to do some camping and some boating. We had a great time! The water was nice, 80+ degrees, so we had fun swimming and wakeboarding. On Saturday we watched the fireworks on the water. It was so pretty. It is so fun to watch fireworks on the boat, with the water reflecting the light of the fireworks.
Braden was pretty good to not wander off. Near the end of though he discovered a trail behind the tents that lead down a hill, accross a road, and down to the water. While I was cooking he started to wander down the hill and before I noticed someone called out "Baby down the Hill!". My heart stopped for a second. I ran down and got him before he got to the road but then he realized he found something that he could do that would cause me to chase after him (one of his favorite activities) So he did that another 2 times... Sadie's favorite thing while camping was casting out and realing in her new Barbie fishing pole.
We went up with another couple that has 2 kids that are Sadie and Braden's age, so that was fun for them to have playmates this time. Usually we can't get other people with small kids to go camping, it is too much work for them I guess. The 2 boys just wandered around the campsite, rolling in the dirt. Braden was so dirty that the only part that wasn't covered in dirt was his bright blue eyes. It looked so funny. Sadie and Ryli fought most of the time until the end, they decided they were "best friends". It was cute. Dave and Brittany came with their family, and Rachel came with her family for one day. Jeff and Lauren and Jeff's parents came up for one day. And Kelly and her boyfriend camped with us for Friday and Saturday night.
I didn't take pictures because I forgot my memory card for my camara but I was promised that I would be sent some pictures from the other camaras that were there. So I will post them when I get them.
