Growing Pains

Poor Braden has been experiencing some hard changes lately. I guess we have been feeling the need for him to grow up a little bit since we have another one on the way. We took him off of the bottle and the binky a couple of weeks ago, he is strictly on sippy cups now. He always had to have a bottle in his mouth, even when he wasn't drinking, and I was worried it was going to mess up his teeth. It was very hard for him, I felt like he was acting like a smoker that got his cigarettes taken away, he was so addicted. Since he has been off the bottle he has also started talking a lot more! Yay! The other change that we have seen is that he is a lot more aggressive and has a bigger temper. Uh-oh.
Braden is also sleeping in his toddler bed (converted from his crib). So he has the ability to get out but he has been very good and only gotten out one time at the very beginning. I thought we should transition slowly so his crib doesn't get it yanked out from under him all at once.
Potty training..... we'll leave that for another day... I'm not ready for that!
