What do you do when the kids are restless and you're tired of the TV and they're tired of their toys but you can't send them outside because its stormy and raining?
Well, if you have no furniture in your front room and the house layout allows you to go in circles around the center then you let your kids ride their bikes in the HOUSE, of course!
Its like a big indoor race track!
Sadie loves her new "cruiser" bike. I thought she looked like a girl from the 50s in that outfit with this bike. :)
I have been working with Braden on pedaling and he just recently really "got" it. Now he is so fast that Sadie can't keep up with him! She yells for him to slow down and he reminds her that he is "Lightning McQueen" and "faster than fast"! I can't keep him off of it now!

I just love your house! I remember when you guys where picking your floor from the samples and we both said we like lite wood better but Jason liked the dark wood. I like the dark wood way better now that I can see the whole thing. It's beautiful. Your kids are so cute and your such a good mommy for letting them ride around in the house. Will you be my Mom?
You are such a cool mom! This time of year I think we are all desperate to find SOMETHING different for our kids to do so they don't drive us crazy! Kudos to you for being creative and flexible enough to let them have a good time. Now whenever they think you are not a cool mom you can show them the pics and say "see I really am cool" :)

That first pic of Sadie, with the outfit and bike, it does look like from the 50's.
I have had to time my refrigerator door opening for the EXACT same reason! And Ryli would always tell Cade to slow down so that she could be the leader.
