Some of the fun adventures we have had in June are:
Sadie's Preschool Graduation
Landscaping the front yard
Another trip to the Coast
Father's Day and our 7th Anniversary were on the 21st!
Annual Lake Hogan Camping/Boating Trip
Started Soccer for Sadie and Braden
Sadie's graduation was while I was in Idaho/Utah so I missed it. Jason and his parents were able to go though and they told me how cute it was. I am bummed I missed it. Hopefully I can steal Jason's dad's pictures of the day sometime. :)
Jason and I decided to landscape the front and side yard this month. We have been wanting to move so put off finishing the job we started over a year ago when I was pregnant with Mackenzie. Jason keeps saying how it is so ghetto here and that we need to move so he didn't want to put the money into it. But walking around our (immediate) neighborhood, our house had one of the most ghetto yards being half finished. I just didn't feel right about complaining about the ghetto if our house was a part of it. So we have a friend that is a landscaper that told us what plants we should get and how we should arrange it (since we have no idea) and just bought baby plants with a Lowes gift card we had. It looks so much better!
We went to the coast (again) to take the trailer back home.

It is so relaxing there, we have such a good time whenever we go.
Jason tried to take us to another beach from his youth but couldn't find it. But we did get to explore some other beaches in the area.

It was our 7th Anniversary and Father's Day on Sunday as we were coming back from Anchor Bay. I am ashamed to say we didn't do anything to celebrate either. Well, I guess we did get to make a trip to the coast, but I feel bad I didn't do anything special. :( I am so bad.
Lake Hogan was a blast as always. We went there last weekend with the Kreys, the Johnsons, and the Morleys. What a crazy/fun group! There were lots more kids around than usual since we were the young family in the group. The kids were from ages 11-5 besides our little ones and Jeff and Lauren's 4 month old baby. Its always fun when the kids have playmates when we go camping. And I didn't have to worry about Sadie and Braden as much since there were older kids around keeping an eye on them. It was so hot but the water was perfect. Layne was super brave to tent camp at 8 months pregnant!
It was fun watching fireworks on the water. We couldn't believe it when Aaron skinny-dipped off the boat during the firework show, but shouldn't have been surprised after spending the weekend with him. LOL! Cindy and Ken tried wakeboarding for their first times, they did awesome. Jeff and Lauren brought up their new jet ski and let us play on it a little bit too. Braden's highlight of the trip was driving the jet ski. :) We had so much fun getting to know these families better.
Soccer... well, it was interesting. I will have to wait to see as time goes on how it goes with Sadie and Braden. I think Sadie likes it but may be in a class to young for her. Braden just needs to get into it a little more and not give up so easily. We'll see how it goes...
