ANTIOCH LITTLE LEAGUE
Opening Day Ceremonies
Braden's team the Hot Rods are second in line at the Parade! So weird having him walking around with all those kids and us being in the bleechers. I was worried about that he would wander away and get lost when the coaches weren't watching, that he was too cold, etc.
Sadie has no desire to try this game, but I think Mackenzie is a fan! We could not get her to take off Braden's uniform and gear! She was so mad when we gave it to Braden to wear the next day!
Here is Braden up to bat at his FIRST GAME EVER! He is sooo little!
The girls kept busy at the game too. Doing homework...
PLAYDATE
My friend Christina brought over her 3 girls one morning for a breakfast/playdate before Sadie went to school. It was a nice day so we let them eat outside. It was so cute seeing them all dressed up enjoying chocolate chip pancakes topped with chocolate whipped cream around this little table. They were haveing so much fun together. What a great idea, Christina!
SLEEP-OVERS AND CAMPING OUT IN OUR BEDROOMS
Braden loves his new "tent" he got for Christmas from Patty and Glenden. He asks to sleep in it quite often. The funny thing is, he is MUCH too big to really lay down comfortably in it so usualy I arrange him so his feet stick out the opening. When I walked in this night though I found him arranged a little differently than the way I left him!
Now that looks comfy! ;)
On his birthday he got a sleeping bag with a blow up mattress. It is of course a new favorite to sleep in too and the night after his birthday he requested a sleepover in his sisters' room! I think he is jealous that they have each other to share a room with and he has his room all alone. Anyway, Mackenzie (always wanting to do whatever Braden is doing) decided she was going to sleep in the sleeping bag too! It didn't last long, but I had to get a picture of their little sleepover!
BIG ACCOMPLISHMENTS!
Jason "folded" his first load of laundry since our marriage, I think! To me it was organized piles, but to him.... masterpiece! :)

that laundry "pile" is great. lol. definitely a guy's work and not yours. thats how matt did laundry when i first met him...either that or the other extreme where it would take him over 1 minute to perfectly fold each shirt.
braden looks so cute playing baseball. i'm thinking of going more into sports rather than dance with my kids since they clam up on the dance floor these days.
LOVE the laundry pile!! Good for him for trying though:) Braden looks soooo little up there batting! Too cute! :) What a fun post!! Loved all the updates!
Braden's head sticking out of the tent is hilarious! I love the laundry piles. Super funny. Our laundry is not always folded but I'm a laundry nazi and have to have it folded just right. Dave is always like, 'is this ok?' He's afraid I'll get mad if it's not perfect. I guess I should just be happy he's helping. That's cool that you captured that picture.
Cannot believe that Cade and Braden (born on the same day, at the same hospital) are both playing t-ball at the same time (different states) and have the same team name (Hot Rods) and EXACT same t-shirts! I cannot wait to blog it so you can see. Uncanny.
Loved the head out of the tent and the man "folding" job. Both hilarious. And I am the same as BreeAnne- folding nazi. Really cute that he was helping. Chris folds all the socks I throw at him... which is A LOT!
I promise next time we'll get a bigger tent ;)
