Mother's Day

I love the idea of Mother's Day. My first mothers day was at the hospital after Sadie was born. I was still getting used to the idea that I was a mother. This mother's day was really special because Sadie understood the concept enough to do extra special things for me and tell me "Happy Mother's Day" without any prompting from someone to do so. That meant a lot to me. Sadie's preschool luncheon was really nice too. The kids all made us special place mats with pictures they had drawn and laminated. Sadie answered these questions about me:

They had pictures of themselves with flowers with a bug frame and flowers in vases for us to take home too. And they sang a little song for us.... Awwwwe

On Mother's Day I gave Jason lots of hints on what he could do next Mother's Day. ;) But I did get pampered with treats that they gave to all the Moms at church and dinner at Mom and Dad Carter's house.
