We had a great time on the boat and the lake as well. I did some wakeboarding for the first time in 10 months. Sadie went on the tube all by herself and loved it. Braden didn't like the boat or the water most of the time but I'm hoping we can convert him back soon. We all enjoyed wakeboarding, surfing, and swimming.

While we were swimming we found something floating in the water. We decided we better pick it up and see what it was....

This little "Hula Honey" was so calm and content, that she never cried when we put her in her life jacket, and even slept when we put her in the water. She was the best baby camper I've had.

Our camping trip ended abruptly when we were told wildfires may cause our main road home to be closed. The air began to get very smokey so we left right away. We had to dump the tanks to the trailer on the way out and had problems with that, then the air hitch needed air and we couldn't find a station to fill it at, Sadie rolled her finger up in the window while we were taking care of the other problems....
Then to top it off we got a phone call that our house had been broken into! Jeff had brought the boat to our house for us and found the office window screen broken and the window slid open. He called the cops and us. This is just our luck (see earlier post). We of course imagine the worst. We think of all the things that someone could take and where we left things and how accessible each of those things are. Come to find out once we get home, that all we can see that they took is some cash... maybe $20 that was in a cubby. They pulled things out of our bedroom and bathroom drawers, moved our mattress across the bed, rummaged through some papers and drawers in the kitchen, and messed with the garage doors and the Tahoe (maybe trying to take it but couldn't figure out how to open our garage doors since the motor is broken). We were relieved that it wasn't worse but it is a wake up call for us to secure our possessions better.

ok, after reading the previous post, I agree, you seriously have some streak of bad luck going on. I can't believe someone broke into your house! thankfully nothing big was taken, though. i loved the picture of the baby in the water. i didn't even know they made life vests that small! all of the kids look so cute in their pictures from the trip.
How scary that some one broke it. That would make me very uneasy. Glad nothing major was taken. Also, what a woman, I can't believe you're out wakeboarding after just having a baby. You are my idol!
We've been thinking about you guys and hoping everything turned out ok! I'm glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Phew...
You guys seriously have quite the luck.
The pictures are super cute, and I also can't believe that you are already wakeboarding!
Yeha, for how unlucky you guys are... you are really lucky!
yikes! makes me nervous since we're on vacation now. Hope no one breaks into our house! Fires, robberies, you guys have had your share of bad luck!
I hope everything is getting back to normal. Your kids are so cute. Mike just said he can't wait til Sunday so he can see your cute kids and maybe hold the baby. He loves babies. Call me if you need any help. Glad you are home and safe.
