Through a child's eyes...

I asked Sadie a list of question that I got from my cousin Stephanie's blog. It is always interesting to see how a four year old is going to respond to anything and it was fun to see what she thought about Jason and I. I asked her all the questions about me and then I asked her the same questions about Jason. I only wrote her first response to the questions. I listed them this way to compare how she answered differently to the mommy questions and the daddy questions:

1. What is something mommy always says to you? I don't know.
What is something daddy always says to you? Eat your food.

2. What makes mommy happy? Tickling you.
What makes daddy happy? That you eat your food all gone.

3. What makes mommy sad? You don't listen.
What makes daddy sad? If you don't eat your food all gone.

What does daddy do when you're not around? He finds you.

funny girl... I think she was saying that because we were discussing Jason's Adam's Apple in his throat recently.

I thought Jason didn't like potatoes. Jason must be really trying to get her to eat her food all gone.

I thought that was interesting too. Jason isn't really fond of potatoes and he eats waaaay more ice cream than me! I think she was actually thinking of things that she likes when she answered that question.

i also thought that was so cute! i can't wait till alyssa is old enough to ask those questions to her. too funny that she thinks daddy does nothing and all you do is boss everyone around to keep yourself happy. it's interesting to see what our kids think of us and how they view things.
