I don't know if its just me, but my kids seem extra cute lately.
Sadie has such a tender heart, she is very sensitive. She probably gets that from me. At least the sensitive part, the tender heart is probably Jason... We have to be careful when we laugh if she says something cute because she thinks we are laughing at her and she gets very upset. She also has lots of questions about religion lately. Sometimes she will ask me if Jesus said it was ok if we do whatever it is we are doing that day. She has been asking for me to read the stories out of the Book of Mormon to her. I read a children's version of it to her that has a condensed story and pictures but she has been wanting me to read out of the book she got from Nana and Papa for her birthday. I was avoiding it because I thought she was too young and would get bored but the other night after I put all the kids to bed, I went upstairs to make sure she was asleep and this was how I found her.
Braden seems to really be growing up. He has been more careful around cars, not running into the street like he used to and instead waiting for me to walk with him. Even at church he has been waiting for me to walk with him to the car instead of darting out the doors alone as people open them to go in and out. (What a relief!) He really loves Mackenzie too. I think that has really helped with his growing up to, because he doesn't seem to through *as many* tantrums as he used to now that he has accepted his new role as big brother. He asks to hold her occasionally and is very protective of her.
What a sweet brother!
When Jason was building a fire in the fireplace the other day, Braden was very eager to help. There wasn't much he could do of course but he did get super excited when the fire got going good. He was very impressed with his daddy. It was so cute when he put his arm across Jason's neck as they watched the fire.
And then of course my baby is the cutest little cuddle bug. She is such a good baby. I think she is going to be a timid girl. She smiles at everyone but when they try to talk to her she hides her face in my shoulder. She isn't crawling yet, but rolls everywhere. I also love listening to her baby babble. I love being a mom!!

Doesn't this season bring out the best in all of us. Super cute stories. I love the Book of Mormon pic. My kids love scripture reading at night and remind me every time I forget. Don't you love having 5 stockings hanging over your fire place? I smile every time I see mine. I love being a Mom too.

How cute is that:)! You need to bookmark this post for those day when they don't seem so cute. I need to do one of these posts so that I CAN look back and remember. Lan was having a not so cute and precious day today, but at the end of the day I still love him (and Ryley) more than anything. I wouldn't trade what I do for anything in the world! that book of mormon picture is just adorable! SORRY I've been out lately. we've been gone for over 2 weeks and i'm actually in the hotel with the laptop right now.... anyway, we got the tie either at Juicy Couture or Children's Place. Yeah I'm pretty sure all the pieces from both their outfits were from there with the exception of Alyssa's shirt that was from H&M. It took me forever to find cute ties for David.
