I cut it shorter and layered it a little so it would flip up. I also decided that blow dryers are her friend since she has straight hair and "mousse and go" doesn't work for her like it does for Sadie and I.
She wouldn't give me a good smile because she didn't want to take her picture.
I frequently get asked if her hair is different from Sadie's at this age so I thought I would take a look at old pictures to see how different they are. I was actually surprised at how alike they look, but Sadie's hair is definitely curlier at this age.
Here she is in the same shirt as Mackenzie in the above pictures. She was a little bit younger here though (about 14 months)

Here she is at 17 months (same age as Mackenzie right now)

Best hair shot I could find.
Speaking of hair, my sister found a website with some cute hair-do's for little girls:

I think its cute. You are WAAAYYY braver than I am! I will cut my boys hair but I think I would draw the line with a girl, if I ever have one:) Nice job!
it's cute!! nice job, amber :) i'm scared to even try to cut alyssa's hair (whenever she finally grows enough to cut)
so i'd like to be able to say how many weeks i am but today i got an even larger range now spanning a month and 4 days (instead of 29 days). everythings so messed up w/my dates but hopefully next week i'll know. my doctor was reading all of the different dates trying to make sense of them and didn't really give me a definitive answer. he insists i'll just go into labor even though i'm sure i'll be induced, which is why he's not concerned w/the dates and i am...
Amber you did do a good job! Her hair looks pretty nice.
