Happy Mother's Day!

Braden's preschool had a Mother's day breakfast for all the kids' moms.  His teacher went through a lot of work to make it nice for all of us.  I was really impressed!

Each of the kids took their mom by the hand and took them to their place at the table set up outside.  There was a picture of Braden in a frame he decorated and a laminated place mat of things Braden said about me.

What is your mom's favorite thing to eat?  Just healthy food

Where does your mom like to go for fun.  Everywhere and her friend's house

The kids helped to serve their moms breakfast, which was super yummy!

They also had their own little breakfast with doughnut holes, fruit and drinks.   I think they liked it...  ;)

Kind of funny how the boys and girls segregated themselves on the two blankets.

I also have to mention the super cute little book that the kids gave me for mother's day that made my day.  It was called "My mom is Great" and I loved how it made the little things I go through everyday seem like mini miracles.  Fixing meals, finding and fixing toys, chasing away monsters that live under the bed, going on bike rides in the country... super cute.  I especially loved the little autographs and pictures on the inside cover from Sadie, Braden and Mackenzie.  :)   The kids also gave me some little goodies they created at church as well.

Jason made me a special chocolate chip pancake breakfast and spaghetti and meatball dinner.  Yum!  We also invested in a front loader washer and drier that I will continue to enjoy for years to come.  I told Jason that I didn't need anything else for a long time.    

It was a really nice Mother's Day.  I love being a Mom.  :)
