Its a Girl!!!

On October 21 all three of the kids were able to view the ultrasound and see the new baby along with Jason and I.  It was very exciting to see that everything looked fine and to find out we would be getting another little girl!  We had been talking about how it would be nice to get a little boy to even out our family - 2 girls and 2 boys - but I think deep down I really wanted another girl.  I think it will be fun to see Mackenzie and this little one grow up close in age and hopefully be good friends.

I thought having the kids see the baby on the monitor would help them to understand that there was a baby growing inside me.  When I asked Mackenzie about the baby in my "tummy" later she said, "Baby not in your tummy!  Baby on the TV!"  So maybe it didn't quite sink in for her but Sadie and Braden both really loved watching her kick around on the screen.  We are so excited to meet her in person!
