March 5th we spontaneously decided to take a trip to the snow after T-ball practice that morning with our friends the McMullens. The mountains had gotten a big snow storm the weekend before so there was plenty of snow and it is just a couple hours away so it was perfect for the amount of time we wanted to spend there. We threw our snow clothes into the truck and hoped I didn't go into labor while in the mountains.
The snow was had been melting since the snowstorm so it wasn't real stiff and we kept falling through. I felt like a pack camel stuck in the mud and it was super hard to get out when my leg would sink down all the way to my hip! It was hard enough trying to get up off the couch at home, this was much worse! And since I didn't fit into my snow clothes I was just wearing Maternity Jeans which were getting soaking wet by the min from sinking into the snow. So, I sat most of this trip out, but Sadie and Braden had a great time. Mackenzie became cold pretty quickly and didn't last long either.

I'm impressed you even made the trip at almost nine months preggo. It's kind of funny that we live a lot closer to the snow all winter and we never think of "driving" to it. Maybe we should try it :)
